Notes and footnotes
- The latest BIOS update is required so the host provides power to the HP Integrated Remote System Controller in all host power states. By installing the HP Z4/Z6/Z8 G4/ZCentral 4R Remote System Controller Cable Adapter, power will be stolen from the front USB ports on the host. This was necessary to be able to power the Remote System Controllers in all power states, and it leaves the front USB ports unpowered and unusable.
- [1] The Internal USB cable is only supported on the Z4/Z6/Z8 G4 and G5 platforms. The header is leveraged from the Media Card Reader interface, so when the Media Card Reader is configured in the host, the external USB3 Cable is required.
- [2] This kit does not include the HP Remote System Controller or HP Integrated Remote System Controller.
