Manufacturer Warranty Until the “Warranty Ends” date has been reached or the warranted usage limit has been reached, whichever occurs first.
Warranty Each HP ink cartridge, printhead, and related supply is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the period of the warranty. This warranty pertains to any HP ink cartridge or printhead when used in its designated HP or authorized original equipment manufacturer (OEM) printing device. See the product manual for the printer to determine the correct ink cartridge, printhead, or related supply selection. This warranty does not cover HP ink products that have been refilled, remanufactured, refurbished, misused, or tampered with. The coverage lasts until the “Warranty Ends” date has been reached or the warranted usage limit has been reached, whichever occurs first. TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LOCAL LAW, THE ABOVE WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND NO OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED AND HEWLETT-PACKARD SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR SATISFACTORY QUALITY. Test performed on black opaque self-adhesive vinyl (L*:2.35 – a:2.73 - b:4.26) with 260% Spot printmode using HP 883 3-liter White Latex Ink Cartridge. Visual opacity = 94.7%.

There is a broad set of media with very different odor profiles. Some of the media can affect the odor performance of the final print.

Fourth-generation HP Latex inks have been tested and demonstrated compliance to the following toy safety methods and protocols: EN 71-3, EN 71-9, ASTM F963-17, US 16 CFR 1303, US 16 CFR 1307, SOR 2011-17, and SOR 2018-83. HP does not recommend using the ink for toys intended to target children under the age of 3 years.

The inner materials including the ink bag and printheads can be returned free of charge to the HP Planet Partners program for reprocessing of plastic parts. Zero landfill. ZDHC is an organization dedicated to eliminating hazardous chemicals and implementing sustainable chemicals in the leather, textile, and synthetics sectors.
